MallorcaMallorca or Majorca is designated as the largest amongst the Balearic Islands. Along its sisters islands which are the Ibiza and Menorca the city of Mallorca is located in the Mediterranean Sea which is off the south east coast of the mainland Spain. Amongst the Mediterranean islands Mallorca is one of having been surrounded with fascinating natural beauty. Spending time in Spain for a holiday vacation is cheap yet you were like living in a paradise like location. No doubt, millions of visitors keep coming back here the whole year round. Though most of the tourists coming here are from the UK, nowadays Americans as well as Asians are also spotted here roaming around.

Some of the interesting views to see in Mallorca are the following:

Caves of Drach. The city of Mallorca caters fascinating caves located in various locations. But the most fascinating cave of the island is the Caves of Drach or Coves del Drach which is at Portocristo. Nowadays the Cave of Drach is one of the most attractive places in Mallorca. The cave offers a mini concert where visitors can go underground riding with a boat.

The Bellver Castle. The meaning of Bellver is beautiful view. This castle is a 14th century castle whish is known as the most unique castle amongst the other impressive castles of Spain. The circular design that it has is one of the factors why it looks unique. It was originally built as a royal fortress which is located above the city. Many visitors have been attractive with the castle because of its perfect location across the Bay of Palma.

The Cathedral of Palma. The cathedral is established on the location of a former Arab mosque. It has been said on its legendary story that Jaime I’s fleet was strike with a very strong storm. During that situation he prayed to the Virgin Mary asking her help and made a promised that if she would help her survive from the storm he would make a church for her honor. And it is now known as the Cathedral of Palma. The construction was started on 1306 which was then had a controversial touches later on the 20th century under the famous Gaudi.
