Serene, beautiful, tranquil and so Spanish- that is Mallorca for me. Picturesque valleys, mountain ranges, sun-swept beaches, are just few descriptions of Mallorca diverse natural landscape. The islands geological formation contributed much of the beauty of the largest of the Balearic Islands. Catalunya language and culture is prevalent in Mallorca.
Three major kinds of landscapes offer different and varied choices of activities that visitors can enjoy. The mountain range of Tramuntana and Puig Major offers a perfect view for walking escapades and tour. The mountain ranges is polished through the years to form tiny villages and gives way to little roads going to pebble, rock and sand beaches. Cheap travel to Spain can be enjoyed in this beautiful island.
While the central plain of the island Mallorca is the growing region which means vast plantation of almond and olive grooves are present. The blossoms come out every February that adds colors to the plantation. The coastlines also give to many beaches from the developed resorts to the little coves that families can enjoy for free. Guests can swim, sunbathe, dive and sail whenever they chose to.
Now, Mallorca tourism has reinvented itself to accommodate tourist and guest that are captivated by the islands natural beauty. To the joy of the guest, several hotels are now proudly standing in the islands; Mallorca accommodation ranges from a hotel accommodation to villas. On the northern side of the island is the fishing village. This destination paints one beautiful picture of a life. The fisherman and the locals busy with their businesses replays scenes from the past. You can spend a whole day in the water front of Palma either appreciating the seas or merely spending time taking pictures.
Have you visited the island of Mallorca? What attractions have you visited and had liked?

Mallorca in our dialect means wine or liquor. So, when given an option of destinations to polish my Spanish then I chose Mallorca travel then Madrid or Barcelona. At the back of mind perhaps this time I will let the Spanish language drug me o the discovery of its grammar and local expressions.
So, I went to Mallorca equipped with a computer laptop and of course a digital camera to upload to several social networks, Facebook included to show to friends the attractions of Spain.
It is my intention to stay in Mallorca for 4 days and found myself- yes drug by its beauty that I extended my stay for 24 days making it 30 all in all. Yes, I bask in mallorca beaches for a month before proceeding with my language travel. I was fascinated by the beauty and waters of Mallorca beaches.
There are several really great Majorca Beach hotel that you can choose when you get there. You either book one night in a certain hotel or scout the area for your preferences. You can make your fill of almost 80 fine sand beaches in the whole Mallorca or Palma Mallorca. Your choice can from the most urban, expensive to the unspoilt and free beaches in the area. It is all at your disposal.
When I want to fill touristy and mingle with nationalities all over the world and either speak Spanish or French and even Chinese, I go for plush beach area and enjoy the amenities and of course the company of tourist and all the activities that goes with it.
Most of the time though, I prefer to go on an unspoilt area and mingle with the local kids and beach combers; it is with these activities that I got to really catch the Spanish accent and talk like one of the Spanish people.
A month enjoying each of the 80 beaches is not enough yet though I enjoyed staying there forever; it is but practical to visit other Spanish cities. With sad heart I departed Mallorca and visit another Spanish city.
